Job summary

Michael Page Australia is recruiting a permanent Senior Management Accountant based in Bunbury, WA. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling across site operations under the Finance Manager.

You will provide insights on performance to key stakeholders, oversee month-end and year-end reporting, ensure compliance with financial standards and drive cost-saving and process improvements. This role includes people leadership of one Assistant Accountant.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification desired.
• Experience in projects-based or operational environments.
• Exposure to budgeting and forecasting.

Job Description

Reporting into the Finance Manager and based out of their Bunbury offices, the key scope of this role includes:

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.


• Provide insights on financial performance to stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess the following traits:

• CA/CPA Qualified (desired).


• Prior experience working within a projects-based or operational environment.


• Exposure to budgeting & forecasting.


• People leadership/mentorship exposure.


• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (site based).
