Job summary

Professional Search Group is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its finance team in Perth. Working closely with senior finance and operational leaders, you’ll provide accurate management reporting, job costing and financial analysis to support business performance.

This broad role covers monthly accounts, KPI reporting, variance analysis and support for audits, with opportunities to develop ERP reporting, systems improvements and stakeholder relationships across multiple

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion.
• 2+ years' commercial accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and multi-site P&L reporting.
• Analyse financial performance, trends and budget variances.
• Develop and report on key financial and operational KPIs.
• Support month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review job costing, revenue and project costs.
• Build financial models to support commercial decisions.
• Partner with operational managers across the business.
• Assist with fixed assets, bank and GL reconciliations.
• Support consolidated financial reporting and external audit.
• Improve finance processes, reporting and controls.
• Support and develop ERP reporting and system improvements.

An established, growing organisation is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its finance team.

Working closely with senior finance and operational leaders, you’ll provide accurate management reporting, job costing and financial analysis to support business performance and decision-making.

The Role

• Prepare monthly management accounts and multi-site P&L reporting
• Analyse financial performance, trends and budget variances

About You

You’ll ideally have:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
• 2+ years' commercial accounting experience
• Strong management accounting and analytical skills
• Experience with job costing highly regarded
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement

Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, industrial, construction or project-based environment would be advantageous.
