Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking experienced Maintenance Supervisors, Leading Hands and senior tradespeople for a frontline leadership role in Central Queensland. You'll lead a crew of technicians and subcontractors, ensuring work is planned, allocated and completed safely and to a high standard.

Based at Bowen Basin, this role emphasizes safety, hands-on leadership and close collaboration with the customer to manage expectations and drive maintenance performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technicians and subcontractors in heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong focus on safety, risk assessments and site compliance.
• Ability to coordinate and allocate daily maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and direct a team of technicians.
• Coordinate and allocate daily maintenance tasks.
• Ensure technicians have job packs, information and resources.
• Maintain safety standards, including risk assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with the customer, manage expectations and resolve issues.
• Review service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Supervise subcontractors when required.
• Identify improvements to strengthen equipment performance.
