Job summary

Focus Minerals is seeking a Senior Maintenance Planner to lead maintenance planning and scheduling for fixed plant processing operations in Western Australia. The role ensures maintenance activities are safely planned, resourced, and executed to maximise equipment reliability and asset performance.

The successful candidate will manage maintenance plans, budgets, and stakeholder relationships, driving continuous improvement and coordinating major shutdowns within a mining context.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering or asset management, etc.
• Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling in fixed plant/mining environments.
• Strong safety culture and knowledge of compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise maintenance plans, schedules and shutdown programs to maximise asset availability.
• Maintain asset data, maintenance strategies, BOMs and work management systems.
• Ensure plans and instructions are current and aligned with operations priorities.
• Monitor schedule compliance, backlog, labour utilisation and planning effectiveness.
