Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for LNG operations in Western Australia. Based in Perth, you will engineer, troubleshoot, and optimize plant performance across process systems, utility interfaces, and cross-functional teams.

You will contribute to process simulations, design documentation, risk assessments, and technical assurance while coordinating with operations, maintenance, vendors, and contractors to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering or Process (Control) Engineering.
• Approximately 10 years of process engineering experience.
• Experience within LNG operations with understanding of process systems and utility interactions.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering, operations, and maintenance teams.
• Ability to manage operational issues from site exposure and drive risk-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform process simulations and develop design documents, P&IDs, sizing calculations, and system philosophies.
• Support debottlenecking, optimization, and shutdown activities across LNG facilities.
• Contribute to risk assessments, safety studies, and technical assurance with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and guide operations, maintenance, and project teams on process engineering standards and changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety case requirements and process engineering standards.
