Goodwin Aged Care is seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our Residential Aged Care team. You will provide essential laundry and housekeeping services, helping maintain a safe, comfortable and dignified environment for residents.

You will primarily work at a Goodwin residential aged care facility, with potential cross-site duties as needed. Applicants should have experience in laundry/housekeeping and a strong commitment to resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering laundry services is preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is valued.
• Knowledge of safe laundry and infection-control practices.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality laundry and housekeeping services.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute clothing and linen.
• Maintain accurate laundry records and service schedules.
• Ensure rooms and areas are serviced per standards.
• Operate and clean laundry equipment safely and correctly.
• Report hazards, faults or incidents promptly.
