Medical & Aged Care Group in Victoria is seeking a reliable Laundry Assistant to join our residential aged care home on a permanent part-time basis. You will help deliver high-standard laundry services to support resident comfort, dignity and wellbeing.

Key duties include sorting, washing, drying, folding and distributing resident laundry, maintaining a clean and organized laundry area, and following infection control and safety procedures while collaborating with housekeeping and care teams.

About The Role

As a Laundry Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of our residents by ensuring laundry services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing resident laundry and linen
• Ensuring all laundry is handled with care and returned promptly
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area
• Following infection control, hygiene, and safety procedures
• Working collaboratively with housekeeping and care teams

You are reliable, organised, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

• Previous laundry, cleaning, or aged care experience (Highly Regarded)
