Job summary

Anglicare is seeking a Cafe Chef for casual coverage at Castle Hill Village. You will oversee daily cafe operations, prepare meals and ensure a high standard of service for residents, visitors and guests.

Working with the Food and Beverage Manager, you will help plan menus, maintain quality, and support café functions while upholding HACCP and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial Cookery qualification or equivalent and 2–3 years’ hospitality experience.
• 2–3 years’ experience in food preparation, kitchen operations and menu planning.
• Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) certification with HACCP knowledge.
• Strong English literacy both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals and café items.
• Support planning and delivery of café services and functions.
• Lead by example and collaborate with kitchen and village teams.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
