Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking energetic Café and Functions Assistants to support residents with warm, compassionate service, great coffee, and friendly hospitality. You’ll prepare espresso drinks, handle payments, maintain a clean, welcoming café area, and assist with village events, contributing to a home-like atmosphere for our residents.

Ideal candidates have RSA, WWCC, and at least 6 months food service or front-of-house experience; food handling certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• RSA required.
• WWCC required.
• 6 months in food service or front of house with barista skills.
• Food safety and hygiene knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, customer-focused service to residents and guests.
• Prepare beverages and food with care, including espresso drinks.
• Operate POS and handle payments smoothly.
• Keep cafe tidy and ready for service, including setup and clean-up.
• Assist with events and activities at the villages.
