Job summary

RSL LifeCare in Sydney is seeking a Retirement Living Lifestyle and Activities Coordinator to arrange regular activities for residents and publish the monthly newsletter. You will also support larger events and excursions, coordinating transport and budgeting where needed.

You will work closely with the community and communications teams to deliver engaging programs, ensuring high levels of resident wellbeing and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new residents by handling activity enquiries and supporting their settling‑in period.
• Plan, promote and deliver the monthly social program, including researching new activity ideas and community opportunities.
• Coordinate regular activities such as Friday Lunches, resident outings, cinema sessions and pop‑up shops, ensuring bookings, logistics and insurance requirements are met.
• Support resident groups with administrative needs and communicate reminders or updates about upcoming activities and events.
• Organise transport arrangements for residents attending external activities within the local community.
• Create, coordinate and distribute the monthly resident newsletter, liaising with contributors and external printers.
• Coordinate resident events, including budgeting, booking procedures, supplier liaison and verification of public liability insurance.
• Work with the RSL communications team on significant commemorative events such as ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day.
