Job summary

RSL LifeCare Limited is seeking a Recreation and Engagement Lead to design and oversee holistic programs for residents in Penrith. You will coordinate events, perform comprehensive assessments, and drive community partnerships to enrich resident lives.

The role focuses on needs-based program delivery, collaboration with the care team, and upholding aged care standards in a not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher not required; relevant certificates and experience accepted.
• Experience planning and facilitating meaningful leisure, recreation and lifestyle programs for individuals and groups.
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and oversight of holistic Recreation and Engagement programs for residents.
• Coordinate all aspects of special events, including entertainment, catering, decorations and logistics.
• Complete comprehensive assessments to inform and update each resident’s integrated care plan.
• Develop and maintain community partnerships to support meaningful engagement.
• Ensure programs reflect residents’ needs and preferences, promoting choice and independence.
• Develop collaborative relationships with the care team to support high quality, person-centred care.
