Job summary

Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) is seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator to enrich residents’ lives by delivering engaging lifestyle programs and fostering social connections.

You will work with the Recreational Therapy Regional Advisor, Residential Manager and volunteers to promote wellbeing, independence and belonging among residents, tailoring activities to individual preferences and abilities.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Lifestyle, Leisure and Health or related field.
• Experience in lifestyle, leisure or community engagement in residential aged care.
• Passion for supporting older people to maintain independence and quality of life.
• Ability to develop activities based on individual preferences and abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and deliver engaging lifestyle programs.
• Coordinate celebrations, events and community activities.
• Build partnerships with residents, families, volunteers and community groups.
• Encourage resident participation and social connection.
• Maintain lifestyle documentation and records.
