Job summary

Vinarchy is seeking a Senior Liquid Innovation Specialist to lead next-generation wine and wine-based beverages from concept to Gate 1. You will apply sensory science, flavour chemistry and innovative processing to create breakthrough products.

Collaborating with winemakers, R&D, suppliers and academic partners, you will steer projects through development stages, ensure regulatory and quality standards, and help shape Vinarchy's liquid identity for a global audience.

The Role

As a Senior Liquid Innovation Specialist, you will be one of the creators of that future.

This role is designed for a visionary with strong technical depth. Whether your background is in wine, brewing, distillation, RTD, functional beverages or broader flavour innovation. You understand how liquids are crafted, developed and refined, and you’re excited by the opportunity to apply that expertise to wine and wine‑based beverages.

You’ll explore emerging consumer behaviours, global taste shifts and cultural trends, translating them into new concepts that redefine how people experience flavour. From breakthrough varietals and blends to low‑alcohol, no‑alcohol and functional alternatives, you’ll guide ideas from spark to Gate 1, blending sensory expertise, scientific rigour and creative intuition. You’ll also play a key role in liquid renovation and value engineering, ensuring our existing portfolio continues to evolve with character, quality and purpose.

What You'll Do

In this role, you’ll help shape Vinarchy’s future liquid identity. You’ll immerse yourself in global consumer trends, cultural shifts and emerging flavour territories, turning insight into imaginative concepts that push the boundaries of what wine and wine‑based beverages can be.

Working closely with winemakers, R&D teams, suppliers and external partners, you’ll design and refine innovative liquid profiles – exploring botanicals, natural extracts, alternative ingredients and new fermentation or processing techniques to unlock fresh possibilities.

You’ll guide products from early idea through Gate 1, facilitating sensory panels and consumer tastings to sharpen direction and ensure every concept is grounded in both creativity and technical excellence. Along the way, you’ll benchmark competitive offerings, contribute to a differentiated innovation pipeline, and ensure all new liquids meet global regulatory, safety and quality standards.

Collaboration sits at the heart of this role. You’ll partner with Packaging, Brand, Marketing, Legal and Operations to ensure each innovation aligns with brand identity and commercial strategy, while also engaging academic institutions and technical experts to advance ingredient sourcing and processing technologies. You’ll lead both innovation and renovation projects through the stage‑gate process, support broader technical initiatives across the business, and champion curiosity, creativity and continuous improvement within the innovation function.
