Job summary

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with front of house team and internal customers regarding daily events.
• Conduct quality checks on food items to ensure high standards of quality.
• Monitor and regulate temperatures of cooking equipment such as ovens and grills.
• Prepare and cook a variety of food dishes.
• Season and plate food with gravies, sauces, and garnishes.
• Safely store food in designated temperature-controlled facilities.
• Adhere to dietary requirements when preparing food.
• Assist in menu planning and estimating quantities needed.
• Provide training and guidance to other kitchen staff and apprentices, if required.
