Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Senior Liaison Advisor to shape trusted relationships with government stakeholders and lead strategic engagement across Shareholder Departments. You will provide high-level advice, coordinate critical communications, and support the Post30 Strategy with senior leaders.

In this role you will manage complex briefs, orchestrate cross-functional collaboration, and drive timely responses to sensitive inquiries while navigating regulatory landscapes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing relationships across government, regulatory or complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of government decision-making, policy development and regulatory landscapes.
• Experience preparing briefs, submissions and executive-level communications on complex matters.
• Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen strategic relationships with Shareholder Departments and key stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice to senior leaders on government expectations, risks, and stakeholder requirements.
• Oversee development and QA of complex briefs, submissions, and high-profile communications.
• Coordinate enterprise-wide responses to sensitive, time-critical requests with timely, accurate information.
• Support parliamentary and governance processes, including Senate Estimates, across the business.
