Zusammenfassung

CSIRO is seeking a Senior Adviser (Portfolio) to strengthen its engagement with government and coordinate strategic advice across CSIRO’s units. The role involves connecting government priorities with CSIRO stakeholders, analysing emerging issues, and supporting parliamentary and Federal Budget processes.

The successful candidate will build networks, integrate information from multiple sources and deliver quality outcomes in a dynamic environment. Canberra or Melbourne preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to analyse government priorities and coordinate strategic engagement.
• Experience delivering parliamentary, policy and budget processes.
• Understanding of government policy development and budget cycles.

Aufgaben

• Connect government priorities with CSIRO stakeholders and opportunities.
• Advise on engagement with government and prepare high-quality briefings.
• Support parliamentary questions, ministerial correspondence and Senate estimates.
• Coordinate responses to priority and emerging matters for CSIRO.
• Lead and coordinate submissions to government consultations.
