Job summary

Holy Spirit Catholic College Lakemba in Sydney seeks a Leader of Learning - Coaching Coordinator 3 to inspire students through student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. This is a 3-point promotional role, temporary up to 3 years, with a full-time permanent teaching position.

The role connects the College Learning Committee with the Leader of Learning Pedagogy to promote expert teaching and evidence-based practices. WWCC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management and student well-being focus.
• Ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences.
• Religious Education qualifications or willingness to achieve them per Accreditation Policy.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to and be a member of the college's leadership team.
• Be an active member within the Learning Committee and help develop the yearly learning plan.
• Lead colleagues to plan, implement and review the effectiveness of learning and teaching practices to improve student outcomes.
• Advocate for and lead professional learning opportunities aligned with the Leader of Learning Pedagogy and the EIA SCS framework.
• Establish a strong coaching culture to improve instructional practices across the college.
• Develop coaching partnerships to build teacher efficacy and data-informed practice.
