Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Senior Lead Data Analyst to partner across the business, delivering impactful reporting and driving action through change management. You will apply advanced data analytics while serving as a business-facing consultant to deliver commercial impact.

You will lead end-to-end analytics projects, mentor teammates, and present insights to leadership. This role is Hybrid remote in Sydney, focusing on SQL, Python, Power BI, and data governance to enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business analytics, data science, or related field.
• 6+ years of work experience required.
• Experience with project management (Waterfall & Agile).
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, R, DAX, or similar.
• Experience with data governance, BI tools, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and project leadership in the team's day-to-day project portfolio.
• Demonstrate financial acumen to develop financial impacts for existing projects and evaluating new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Stryker enterprise across functions to leverage domain expertise and capabilities.
• Manage expectations on timing and scope of project work.
• Identify opportunities and lead discussions where data analytics can be applied to business opportunities with key stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach data analytics colleagues in developing their skills.
• Demonstrate ability to recommend visualizations of data to empower stakeholders.
• Orchestrate presentations of complex analyses to leadership.
