Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Sydney, Australia is seeking a finance professional to join the Medical APAC Finance team. You will lead forecasting, budgeting, and monthly P&L, analyzing sales, margin, and operating performance to inform regional decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, management accounting, or related finance role.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, management reports, and financial analyses.
• Experience analyzing profit and loss statements and translating financial data into business recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end forecasting, projection, and annual budgeting processes for the Medical APAC division.
• Own monthly profit and loss reporting, ensuring financial results are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
• Analyze sales, margin, and operating performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support business objectives.
• Present monthly financial results, forecasts, and key business insights to regional leadership teams.
• Partner with commercial leaders to evaluate business decisions, investments, and sales initiatives through financial analysis and performance modeling.
• Provide actionable recommendations that improve revenue growth, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate activities across accounting, compliance, taxation, and risk management functions to ensure alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver continuous improvement projects that enhance financial processes, reporting capabilities, and business outcomes.
