Limber Legal seeks a Senior Lawyer to join a Commonwealth Agency secondment in Brisbane. The role focuses on administrative law and statutory interpretation, advising across client areas and handling automated decision making issues.

The ideal candidate holds a current practising certificate, can obtain Baseline security clearance, and has experience in Commonwealth administrative law, including Social Security and Health Legislation.

Qualifications

• A current practising certificate (or ability to obtain one).
• Baseline security clearance (minimum) is essential.
• Experience advising on Commonwealth administrative law including automated decision making and legislative reform (Social Security Law) is highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• secondee within the Commonwealth client’s in-house legal team with high level stakeholder engagement.
• Provide advice across a range of client areas.
• Deliver advice on statutory interpretation of legislation and subordinate instruments; administrative law principles in business decisions; program legislation; automated decision making; and health/sec Social Security-related issues.
