Job summary

Limber is sourcing secondees for a Commonwealth Department to work in its in-house legal team in Canberra. The role focuses on providing high-level legal advice on statutory interpretation, administrative law, and related regulatory matters.

Successful candidates will hold a practising certificate (or be able to obtain one) and have baseline security clearance. Experience with Commonwealth administrative law, particularly around therapeutic goods, is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• A current practising certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Baseline security clearance (minimum) is essential.
• Experience advising on Commonwealth administrative law including regulatory framework relating to therapeutic goods is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Work as a secondee within the Commonwealth department's in-house legal team.
• Provide advice across a range of client areas with high-level stakeholder engagement.
• Advise on statutory interpretation and administrative law principles in decision-making and process issues.
