Job summary

Sibanye Stillwater Australia is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician for Century Mine. The role requires management of daily laboratory workflow, QA/QC reporting, and mentoring the laboratory team. FIFO one 15 days on/13 days off roster, supporting hydro mining and rehabilitation programs.

The position demands strong analytical skills, experience with XRF/AAS, and knowledge of ISO17025 standards. You will work with cross-functional teams on site in Queensland and contribute to safety and

Qualifications

• Site-based or commercial mineral laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with sample preparation and correct sampling techniques.
• Knowledge of wet chemistry methods including digestion.
• Familiar with ISO17025 and Australian Standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily laboratory workflow and QA/QC to ensure timely, accurate results.
• Mentor and support direct reports; coordinate tasks and workloads.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment; perform calibration and cleaning.
