Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is a Brisbane-based IT consultancy and managed services provider seeking a Senior Support Engineer to join as a senior technical escalation point across cloud, network, and security stacks.

You will handle 2nd line incidents, mentor Service Desk engineers, and design and deliver infrastructure and cloud projects while maintaining client environments. The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, client communication, and hybrid work arrangements in Brisbane.

Qualifications

• Experience in MSP or multi-client environments.
• Advanced troubleshooting across Microsoft cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Solid networking and security fundamentals.
• Ability to own problems through to resolution.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as 2nd line escalation for complex incidents and problems.
• Support and mentor Service Desk engineers.
• Design and deliver infrastructure and cloud projects.
• Maintain and improve client environments across cloud, network, and security.
• Contribute to documentation, standards, and technical best practices.
