Job summary

IT Integrity in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure & Service Desk Engineer Level 2/3 to join our managed services practice. This is not a junior role; you will diagnose and resolve complex issues across network, server, Microsoft cloud and endpoint environments and act as an escalation point for other engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' hands-on IT infrastructure/support experience.
• Troubleshooting business network infrastructure.
• Strong TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP, NAT and VPN knowledge.
• Experience with firewalls, managed switches and enterprise wireless.
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory troubleshooting.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration.
• Ability to own escalated incidents and drive to resolution.
• Excellent customer communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve complex Level 2/3 incidents through to resolution.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/VPN, routing, switching, firewall and wireless infrastructure.
• Diagnose network performance, DNS, DHCP, VLAN and routing issues.
• Configure and support managed switches, firewalls, wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams and Intune.
• Support Azure-hosted infrastructure and hybrid environments.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents.
• Proactive infrastructure maintenance, patching, vulnerability remediation.
• Manage technical escalations with vendors, carriers and third-party providers.
• Provide technical guidance to Level 1/2 engineers.
• Maintain documentation and client environment information.
• Assist with upgrades, migrations, deployments and projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, security and performance.
