Job summary

LTM is a global AI-centric technology services and digital transformation partner. We are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer with MuleSoft expertise to design, develop and deliver scalable APIs and integration solutions for enterprise environments.

You will collaborate with architects, product teams and stakeholders to modernise legacy systems and drive API-led architectures across cloud, on‑premise and hybrid setups.

Qualifications

• Strong Java experience with 8+ years and Spring Boot.
• MuleSoft Anypoint Platform expertise for API-led connectivity.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with API security and governance best practices.
• Proficiency with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD workflows.

Senior Java Software Engineer - API Developer – MuleSoft & Integration

We are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer with MuleSoft experience to join our growing Integration & Microservices practice, working on enterprise-grade integration and API platforms across complex environments.

The Role

As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will design, develop and deliver scalable APIs, microservices and integration solutions using Java, Spring Boot and MuleSoft.

You’ll work closely with architects, developers, product teams and business stakeholders to build secure, resilient and high-performing integration solutions, connecting applications and modernising legacy environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop and support MuleSoft integration solutions, APIs and workflows
• Build scalable and secure integrations across complex enterprise systems
• Contribute to API-led integration and microservices architectures
• Develop API specifications, models and supporting documentation
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, code reviews and troubleshooting
• Work with architects and technical teams on solution design and integration patterns
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-driven delivery
• Integrate applications across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments
• Support legacy modernisation and migration to API-led and cloud-native architectures

Core Technical Skills

• Strong commercial experience with Java 8+ and Spring/Spring Boot
• MuleSoft / Anypoint Platform development and integration experience
• Experience with MuleSoft API-led connectivity and integration patterns
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman
• Experience with API security, governance and best practices
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns

Additional Experience

• Docker and Kubernetes
• SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB
• Event-driven and serverless architectures
• CI/CD and DevOps practices
• API management platforms and enterprise middleware
• Experience with messaging technologies and distributed systems
• Exposure to Node.js, React.js or other modern technologies is desirable
