Job summary

Capital Executive Search partners with a leading AI cloud and HPC provider to recruit an IT Support Senior Manager in Sydney. You will lead the IT Support team, own end-user services, and drive service excellence across the business.

Key focus areas include ITIL processes, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune and Azure, workplace technology, device lifecycle, security governance and vendor relationships, with opportunities to shape modern enterprise IT.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT support, systems administration or IT operations with leadership.
• Strong experience in enterprise Microsoft environments (M365, AD, Intune, Azure).
• Proven experience leading IT Service Desk in fast-paced enterprise settings.
• Solid ITIL knowledge and service management best practices.
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the IT Support team to deliver exceptional end-user support.
• Own IT service management processes and incident response within SLAs.
• Oversee administration of core technologies (M365, AD, Intune, Azure).
• Manage workplace technology, device lifecycle, software deployment, onboarding/offboarding.
• Drive operational excellence through automation and best practices.
• Partner with leadership to translate business needs into tech outcomes.
• Support cybersecurity and governance initiatives in line with policies.
• Manage vendor relationships and technology partners.
• Lead IT infrastructure and workplace technology projects.
• Develop IT documentation and knowledge base resources.
• Monitor performance metrics and user satisfaction for improvements.
