Job summary

Health Insurance Fund of Australia (HIF) is seeking an IT Manager to lead hands-on delivery, support and improvement of a modern hybrid technology environment. You’ll manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, AD, Windows Server, endpoint management and security controls, while guiding incident resolution and cloud integrations.

The role requires 2–5+ years in relevant infra, strong collaboration skills, and Microsoft infrastructure certifications or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a hybrid Windows/Microsoft cloud environment.
• Experience with modern identity, access management and device management.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Certifications/experience in Microsoft infrastructure are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on delivery, support and continuous improvement of the hybrid workplace and technology environment.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, AD, Windows Server and related services.
• Manage endpoint configuration and patching via Intune and ConfigMgr.
• Support security controls: CA, MFA, data protection and access governance.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and incident triage for complex issues.
• Contribute to security/compliance with CPS 234, ISO 27001 aligned controls.
• Mentor Service Desk and Cloud Engineer; assist with cloud integrations.
