The Consortio Group is seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to manage server, network and cloud infrastructure across a busy multi-site operation in Port Moresby, PNG. This is a FIFO role from Brisbane on a 6/2 roster (6 weeks onsite, 2 weeks home).

You’ll report to the Group IT Manager and work with the IT Security Manager in a hands-on team with ownership of the environment. Living onsite in a secure compound with accommodation and meals provided, you’ll be part of a diverse team.

Qualificações

• 7+ years in systems administration or infrastructure roles.
• Strong Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID experience.
• Solid networking knowledge (Cisco or similar).
• Experience with virtualisation, backup and recovery.
• A practical, self-sufficient approach suited to a remote environment.
• Comfortable living onsite in a secure compound for 6 week stretches.
• Cultural awareness and the ability to build strong relationships with local teams.

Responsabilidades

• Managing and maintaining server, network and cloud infrastructure
• Administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID and endpoint management
• Supporting and maintaining LAN, WAN, wireless and site connectivity
• Providing senior level support to users across office, yard and site locations
• Working with the IT Security Manager on patching, backups and security controls
• Managing vendors, licensing and IT assets
• Documenting systems and improving processes
