Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a Materials Coordination Supervisor to lead our Brisbane-based operations, with FIFO to Papua New Guinea on a 4:4 roster. You will supervise stores, warehousing, tooling and logistics to ensure material availability and inventory accuracy for efficient project delivery.

You will work closely with operations and procurement, oversee inspections, and drive safe, reliable supply chain processes across sites in Australia and PNG.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Storeperson/Storeman in fast-paced operations.
• Strong warehousing and logistics background with inventory accuracy.
• Experience coordinating movement of materials and tooling to meet operations.

Job description

An exciting opportunity exists for a Materials Coordination Supervisor to join Monadelphous PNG Operations team until mid-2028, based in the Brisbane office until December then on site in Papua New Guinea on a FIFO 4:4 roster.

This fact paced position is responsible for overseeing stores, warehousing, tooling, and logistics activities to ensure materials and equipment are available when needed. Working closely with operations and procurement teams, you will maintain inventory accuracy, support efficient supply chain processes, and contribute to safe and effective operational delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead and supervise the operational team to achieve safety, performance, and service objectives.

Manage day-to-day store operations, ensuring efficient inventory control and stock management.

Oversee warehousing activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment.

Coordinate and conduct material inspections to ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.

Manage tooling assets, including maintenance, availability, tracking, and utilisation.

Coordinate logistics activities to ensure the timely movement and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies.

Support procurement activities through supplier coordination, material planning, and purchasing processes.

What you will bring:

Proven experience working as a Storeperson/Storeman within a fast-paced operational environment.

Strong background in warehousing and logistics, including inventory management, goods receipting, storage, dispatch, and material handling.

Demonstrated experience coordinating the movement of materials, equipment, and tooling to support operational requirements.

Sound understanding of warehouse processes, stock control systems, and supply chain operations.

Previous experience working with SiteSense or similar Materials Management Systems would be an advantage

Experience working within the engineering, construction, or resources sectors is highly regarded.

Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
