Job summary

HCLTech in Adelaide, Australia, is seeking a Senior Administrator - Support & Operations to provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support in a large enterprise environment. You will troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and device issues, manage Windows OS and Microsoft 365 services, and support AD/Entra ID and security settings.

The role requires strong communication, ITIL-aligned incident/change management, and coordination with vendors and remote teams to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Desktop Support or EUC/IT Operations.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 Administration and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management.
• Familiar with laptops, desktops, printers, and collaboration tools.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, wireless.
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira) and ITIL basics.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level IT support for hardware, software, network, and end-user issues.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows OS and business apps.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services: Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Intune.
• Manage AD and Azure Entra ID; control access and policies.
• Perform hardware deployments, imaging, and asset lifecycle management.
• Coordinate with vendors and remote teams to resolve issues.
• Support meeting room tech and video conferencing platforms.
• Maintain records in ITSM platforms; follow ITIL processes.
