Job summary

MA Financial Group is seeking an experienced Level 2–3 Technical Support Engineer to join our Technology team at head office in Sydney. The role focuses on desktop and application support, onboarding/offboarding, asset management and ongoing improvements across Microsoft 365, Okta, Intune, NinjaOne and HaloITSM environments.

You will troubleshoot SSO/MFA, document resolutions, and mentor junior team members while contributing to technology deployments and security initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in Desktop Support, Service Desk or End User Computing.
• Strong Windows desktop and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting and administration skills.
• Experience with Active Directory and cloud identity platforms such as Okta.
• Experience with endpoint management with Intune and RMM tools.
• Understanding of SSO, MFA, permissions and identity/access management.
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, VPN.
• Experience with user onboarding/offboarding and IT asset management.
• Familiarity with HaloITSM, NinjaOne and Okta is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2–3 support for Windows desktops, laptops and devices.
• Own and resolve escalated incidents and service requests with clear communication.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Okta and Intune.
• Troubleshoot SSO, MFA, permissions and application access issues.
• Use NinjaOne for endpoint monitoring, patching and deployment.
• Manage incidents and documentation in HaloITSM.
• Onboard and offboard users, manage devices and asset lifecycle.
• Assist in deployments, upgrades and continuous improvement.
