Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Projects Lead to drive project controls across a large, complex environment in Australia. You will establish, lead and maintain robust controls for schedule, cost, change, scope and performance, working with project directors, commercial teams and delivery partners.

You will develop schedules, monitor performance, support budgeting and lead change management to ensure informed decision-making and successful delivery on a high-profile program.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in project controls in infrastructure, construction or capital programs.
• Experience leading project controls across large or complex projects.
• Strong expertise in planning/scheduling, cost control, change management, and reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of critical path analysis, resource loading and levelling.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause analysis.
• Experience developing and implementing project controls procedures and systems.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation experience.
• Ability to translate project data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project controls function across large/complex projects.
• Develop and maintain accurate project schedules with critical path analysis.
• Monitor performance and provide analysis, reporting to management.
• Lead scope control and change management processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support budgeting and management of incentive programs.
