Job summary

CPB Contractors is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Relations Advisor to support a major infrastructure project. You will provide specialist industrial relations advice, manage workplace relations matters and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, enterprise agreements and project requirements.

This role involves FIFO arrangements and regional travel, with a 15:6 roster and close collaboration with project leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Industrial Relations Advisor or similar, ideally in major infrastructure or construction.
• Strong knowledge of Australian industrial relations legislation, enterprise agreements and modern awards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management in fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on enterprise agreements, modern awards and workplace policies.
• Support employee and industrial relations issues, grievances, disputes and investigations.
• Build relationships with project leadership, site management, employees, unions and stakeholders.
• Monitor IR risks and trends, advising on workforce issues and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with IR obligations and document preparation.
