Job summary

CPB Contractors Pty is seeking a Senior People & Culture Advisor to support a major infrastructure project in regional Queensland, with initial base in Brisbane and frequent site travel. The role involves partnering with project leadership to drive employee engagement, workforce planning and best-practice people management in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as Senior HR Advisor or People & Culture Advisor on large, project-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial relations, awards or enterprise agreements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project leadership to provide practical People & Culture advice across ER, performance management and workforce planning.
• Manage complex employee relations matters including investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Lead talent management initiatives, succession planning and employee engagement.
• Provide recruitment guidance, onboarding, mobilisation and workforce planning to support project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment legislation while driving a positive workplace culture.
