Job summary

Optus, part of Singapore Telecommunications, invites a seasoned Solution Architect to join the Telco IP & PE team in Macquarie Park, Sydney. You will shape architecture and design of Optus’s IP network across mobile core systems, voice core, network management and other platforms.

As a senior technical leader, you’ll develop robust, scalable connectivity solutions from strategy to detailed design and implementation, working with customers, project teams, vendors and IP teams to deliver practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Five+ years IP network engineering experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols and QoS.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design IP network solutions for mobile core and related platforms.
• Develop roadmaps and strategies for scalable, secure IP connectivity.
• Lead onboarding of new IP devices and topologies using automation tools.
• Provide technical direction during reviews and incidents.
• Collaborate with customers, project teams and vendors to gather requirements and propose solutions.
• Assess projects, budgets and risks, and provide clear recommendations.
