Support budget and capital portfolio management across Transport. You will contribute to the management of the 10-year capital pipeline at the portfolio level, own and coordinate budget management activities, undertake investment and financial analysis, and provide advice to support capital budget management, funding governance and investment decisions.
Working closely with Transport divisions and cross-functional teams, you will build productive stakeholder relationships and provide informed advice on funding requirements and approval pathways. You will analyse complex financial and portfolio information, coordinate inputs, resolve issues, and prepare clear recommendations, briefings and reports to support timely decision-making and effective portfolio outcomes.
You will exercise judgement in managing competing priorities, independently progressing matters and escalating issues where appropriate. You will also contribute to improvements in budget and portfolio reporting, data quality, financial systems and capital management processes.

You are an experienced and solutions-focused professional with strong analytical, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills. You bring demonstrated experience in budget management, investment, finance, infrastructure, portfolio management, the public sector or a related environment.
You can interpret complex financial and portfolio information, identify key issues and translate your analysis into clear, practical advice and recommendations. You build effective stakeholder relationships and work confidently with complex data, governance requirements and multiple stakeholder groups.
