Job summary

Ascend Recruit Pty in Sydney is seeking an Interior Design Graduate or Intermediate Interior Designer to accelerate their career on a range of workplace, commercial, education and retail projects. You’ll work in a vibrant Sydney CBD studio with mentors and a collaborative team to develop concepts, space plans and documentation from early sketches through to delivery.

You'll gain exposure across the full design journey, with opportunities to take greater ownership as you grow, using Revit,

Qualifications

• Qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline.
• Approximately 1–5 years professional experience.
• Experience within an interior design or architectural practice.
• Working knowledge of Revit.
• Strong design thinking and visual communication skills.
• Experience with SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, Enscape, Rhino or similar programs will be highly regarded.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confident and proactive communication style.
• Collaborative attitude and genuine willingness to learn.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities.

• Contribute across the full project lifecycle, from concept to completion.
• Develop creative design concepts, space plans and material selections.
• Produce high-quality drawings and documentation using Revit.
