Populous in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead the design and delivery of memorable interior environments across major projects in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

You will combine design creativity with technical expertise, project leadership and collaboration, guiding projects from early concepts through documentation and delivery. The role emphasizes client presentation, coordination, and team mentorship.

Qualifications

• Substantial interior design experience, ideally within an architecture, interiors or multidisciplinary design practice.
• Experience leading the design, documentation and delivery of complex interior projects.
• Strong technical knowledge with ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design concepts and integrated design responses for major projects in Australia and APAC.
• Guide projects from concept through documentation and delivery.
• Oversee interior documentation and detailing in Revit; ensure quality and consistency across outputs.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Support and mentor other designers and contribute to the APAC interiors community.
