Job summary

Vendito Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer in Adelaide to own projects from client brief through construction and handover. You will translate requirements into functional, visually compelling interiors while ensuring commercial viability and technical coordination.

You will lead the design process, mentor junior designers, and maintain documentation standards across projects in alignment with budgets and programme. Strong Revit skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Interior Designer with a portfolio of commercial interiors.
• Experience leading projects from concept through handover.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit for detailed design models and documentation.
• Strong technical documentation and coordination with consultants/babricators.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and building regulations.
• Leadership and mentoring capability for design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial interior design projects from brief and concept through to documentation, construction and final handover.
• Interpret client requirements into functional, commercially viable design solutions.
• Establish design direction across space planning, finishes, FF&E, and details.
• Present concepts to clients and explain design rationales.
• Manage multiple projects with aligned scope, budgets and schedules.
• Maintain design intent through procurement and construction; resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth design-to-delivery transition.
