Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Senior Reporting & Insights Analyst to turn complex data into actionable insights that support operational, commercial and strategic decision-making across Health Services. You will own reporting initiatives, translate business challenges into data-led solutions and partner with stakeholders to deliver impactful analytics.

Bring 3+ years with Microsoft data platforms, SQL, Power BI (DAX), and strong data storytelling to influence decisions.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years experience across Microsoft data platforms and data analytics.
• 3+ years hands-on experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data.
• 2+ years experience using Power BI, including DAX.
• Strong capability across data analysis, data mining, predictive modelling and data visualisation.
• Strong data storytelling skills with the ability to turn analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Developing high-quality reports and dashboards using Power BI and other analytics tools.
• Using SQL to extract, manipulate and analyse data for reporting and insights.
• Translating complex data into clear insights, recommendations and business actions.
• Partnering with stakeholders to understand operational, commercial and reporting requirements.
• Developing predictive models and analysis to support better business decision-making.
• Providing insights into customer behaviour, profitability and segmentation.
• Troubleshooting and enhancing existing reporting and analytics solutions.
• Improving reporting processes through automation and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency.
• Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data and reporting through quality assurance and validation.
• Supporting the implementation of the Health Services data strategy and roadmap.
• Helping stakeholders adopt and get greater value from new reporting and analytics products.
