Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Senior Reporting & Insights Analyst to turn complex data into actionable insights that support operational, commercial and strategic decision-making across Health Services. You will own reporting initiatives, translate business challenges into data-led solutions and partner with stakeholders to deliver impactful analytics.

Bring 3+ years with Microsoft data platforms, SQL, Power BI (DAX), and strong data storytelling to influence decisions.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years experience across Microsoft data platforms and data analytics.
• 3+ years hands-on experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data.
• 2+ years experience using Power BI, including DAX.
• Strong capability across data analysis, data mining, predictive modelling and data visualisation.
• Strong data storytelling skills with the ability to turn analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.

The purpose of this job is…

As our Senior Reporting & Insights Analyst, you'll play a key role within the Health Services Data & Analytics team, helping turn complex data into meaningful insights that support better operational, commercial and strategic decision-making.

You'll combine strong technical capability with stakeholder engagement and data storytelling, taking ownership of reporting and analytics initiatives and translating business challenges into practical, data-led solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing high-quality reports and dashboards using Power BI and other analytics tools
• Using SQL to extract, manipulate and analyse data for reporting and insights

What you'll need to make it possible

You're an experienced data and insights professional who can confidently move between complex data and stakeholder conversations.

You'll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• 3+ years experience across Microsoft data platforms and data analytics
• 3+ years hands-on experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data
• 2+ years experience using Power BI, including DAX
• Strong capability across data analysis, data mining, predictive modelling and data visualisation
• Strong data storytelling skills with the ability to turn analysis into actionable insights and recommendations
• Knowledge of data quality, cleansing, validation and ETL processes
• Experience working with relational databases and reporting environments
• Strong stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills
