Job summary
Lovisa in Melbourne seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to translate business needs into data-driven insights and scalable analytics solutions. You will migrate SSRS reports to Power BI, develop dashboards and data products, and partner with Retail, Merchandising, Finance and Operations to drive performance.
Bring 3+ years in BI or data roles, strong SQL, and experience with Power BI and Azure-based data tooling.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong Power BI development experience, including dashboards and paginated reports
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with structured and unstructured datasets
- Experience with data modelling, ETL/ELT processes and reporting frameworks
- Proven ability to gather requirements and partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Exposure to SSRS and report migration projects
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS and Azure technologies (Databricks, Synapse or similar) will be highly regarded
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a passion for using data to influence decision-making
Responsibilities
- Leading the migration of reports from SSRS to Power BI and ensuring stakeholders are supported throughout the transition
- Designing, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports and data products
- Gathering and translating business requirements into scalable analytical solutions
- Analysing large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities and actionable insights
- Collaborating with stakeholders to solve business problems using data-driven recommendations
- Ensuring data integrity, quality and governance standards are maintained across reporting solutions
- Supporting operational reporting requests and managing business-critical reporting tickets
- Working with the wider Data & IT team to enhance data platforms, reporting capabilities and processes
- Training and supporting users to build confidence and capability in Power BI and self-service analytics.
