Job summary

Resources Group is seeking a data-driven analyst to join its ANZ insights team in Melbourne. You’ll analyse quantitative market research and customer data, identify trends and competitive movements, and turn complex numbers into clear, engaging insight stories for financial services clients.

With 2+ years in market research or consultancy, you’ll produce client-ready reports, support briefings, and collaborate across Australia and globally in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Experience using Excel and/or tools such as Q or SPSS.
• Excellent written communication and PowerPoint skills.
• A curious mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Confidence communicating insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Financial services experience is highly regarded, but not essential.

Love getting into the data, spotting what matters and turning it into a story that helps clients make better decisions?
Join a fast-growing global insights consultancy specialising in financial services, working with some of Australia’s biggest banks and financial brands.
You’ll sit within a growing ANZ insights team, using rich customer and market data to explore how Australians bank, borrow, save and spend and translating that into clear, commercially useful insight.
The Opportunity
Working closely with a major Tier 1 bank, you’ll analyse large-scale customer and market datasets to uncover trends, competitive movements and opportunities.
This is more than a reporting role. You’ll be encouraged to dig deeper, investigate what’s driving the numbers and help clients understand what the findings mean for their customers and business.
You’ll also support client presentations and gradually build your expertise across the financial services landscape.
