Job summary

Mater Health Services seeks a Senior Digital Infrastructure Specialist Lead to design, deploy and manage core infrastructure platforms, including VMware-based environments, Windows Server and cloud services. You will guide hybrid infrastructure initiatives, mentor staff and ensure secure, scalable enterprise operations.

You will contribute to cloud maturity with IaC, automation, and Azure platform engineering while delivering projects aligned with healthcare systems and governance.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in critical IT support and delivery environments.
• Extensive VMware knowledge: vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX.
• Experience with Windows Server and virtualization at scale.
• Experience delivering IT systems, infrastructure projects or coordination.
• Experience enabling Mater's Cloud Services: Azure, IaC, automation, cloud governance.
• Strong ITIL understanding and application in operations.
• Experience integrating on‑prem VMware with Azure services.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of infrastructure support services and resolve complex issues.
• Design, deploy, manage and support virtual servers and Windows environments.
• Provide SME across VMware and cloud infrastructure.
• Lead hybrid infrastructure projects and system upgrades.
• Develop infrastructure solutions for healthcare systems and apps.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code, automation, and cloud governance.
• Mentor junior team members and share expertise.
• Explain complex concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Operate within ITIL framework and maintain service levels.
