Job summary

Aerometrex Limited is seeking a hands-on Senior Infrastructure & Security Engineer to own the entire environment across our Adelaide and Sunshine Coast sites. You’ll focus on networking, AWS, and practical cyber security, balancing hands-on work with strategic planning.

You will guide security posture, patching, and upgrades while collaborating with executive stakeholders to communicate risks and investment priorities. Travel to the Sunshine Coast site is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in infrastructure roles.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain and improve enterprise networks across two sites (Adelaide & Sunshine Coast).
• Operate, secure and improve AWS environment including VPC design and hybrid connectivity.
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure and identity services (Active Directory, Entra ID, SSO to AWS).
• Lead cyber security roadmap, policies and standards (Essential Eight).
• Oversee third-party access and vendor relationships; ensure documentation and removal when needed.
