Job summary

Advanced Personnel Management invites applications for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support a national network of clinics and hubs across Australia. You will provide advanced expertise across Microsoft 365, cloud, networking, security, and modern workplace technologies, mentoring juniors and guiding strategic projects.

You will own technical initiatives, improve reliability and security, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that enable clinicians and support

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a senior infrastructure engineering role in a medium to large enterprise
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration including Entra, Defender XDR, Intune, Exchange Online
• Proficient with Azure compute, storage, networking, security
• Strong identity and access management knowledge: Conditional Access, PIM, identity collaboration
• PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure: VPNs, firewalls, switching, WiFi
• Proven ability to analyze complex issues and deliver practical solutions
• Experience delivering technical projects in complex environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Committed to learning and professional development

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, implementation, support, and improvement of Microsoft 365, cloud, and infrastructure platforms
• Act as senior escalation point for complex infrastructure, networking, security, and Microsoft 365 incidents
• Identify risks and recurring issues; implement improvements for security, reliability and performance
• Lead technical projects from planning to implementation, delivering business outcomes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable tech solutions
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation and runbooks
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to build technical capability
• Contribute to infrastructure standards, governance, security controls and continuous improvement
