Job summary

Bechtel Australia seeks an experienced Senior Scheduler to support project development, proposals, and contract negotiations through planning and scheduling. You will develop and maintain schedules, monitor progress, and contribute to successful delivery of project objectives.

This role is designated as part-time telework with required in-person attendance at the office or project location several days per week, coordinated with leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–14 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling for major infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for schedule development, critical path analysis, progress measurement, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain schedules for proposals or contract negotiations.
• Establish and maintain the schedule for specific discipline areas.
• Perform schedule development including WBS, activity duration, logic ties, and expenditures.
• Monitor progress and identify critical activities and schedule risks.
• Develop critical path reports and schedule performance metrics.
• Identify and report activities impacting the schedule.
• Monitor and validate subcontractor schedules.
• Evaluate subcontractor schedules for potential improvements.
