Job summary

NSW Public Works is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, procurement and delivery of complex infrastructure projects across regional NSW. You will coordinate clients, consultants, contractors and internal specialists to keep projects moving and deliver outcomes that meet safety, time and quality targets.

This role emphasizes people leadership, sound decision making and accountability for budget, risk and contract management while fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace

Qualifications

• Five years’ relevant project or construction management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience managing complex projects across planning, procurement, construction and handover.
• Strong commercial and contract management with budgets, variations and claims.
• Proven ability to lead client relationships and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• People leadership with performance management and succession planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, procurement and delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
• Manage budgets, contracts, risks and client outcomes across multiple projects.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors and internal specialists.
• Ensure safety, time, cost and quality targets are met throughout delivery.
