Job summary

NSW Public Works in Port Macquarie is seeking an entry level Project Manager to join a regional NSW team delivering diverse infrastructure projects. You will support senior project managers with planning, advisory, and delivery across water, facilities and transportation projects.

The role offers a 35-hour base week, flexible start/finish times, flex leave, and generous recreation leave, with a 2-year temporary full-time contract based in Port Macquarie.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and 1–2 years practical design or construction experience or contract administration.
• Strong teamwork and communication across multidisciplinary environments.
• White Card certification and NSW Driver Licence.
• Willingness to travel across NSW regional towns, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers with planning, advisory, and delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Work on water/wastewater, mechanical/electrical, refurbishment, bridges and roads projects.
• Contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects across NSW.
• Support contract administration on regional projects.
