NSW Public Works is seeking a Project Manager based in Queanbeyan to lead end-to-end infrastructure projects. You’ll coordinate clients, consultants and contractors, manage scope, programme and risk, and mentor a small team of project managers on complex regional projects.

You will also oversee procurement and contracts, monitor performance against contractual requirements and drive project close-out while delivering practical solutions with a local team.

Formación

• This role requires practical project management experience with good judgement and a hands-on approach.
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction or project management or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in civil, water, wastewater or similar infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and deliver projects from planning through to delivery, balancing scope, programme and commercial performance.
• Lead a small team of construction project managers and act as trusted advisor to clients.
• Oversee procurement and contracts; monitor delivery against contractual requirements; manage issues.
• Coordinate handover, defects management and project close-out; work with clients to solve challenges.
